“I believe our imaginations—particularly the parts of our imaginations that hold what we most desire, what brings us pleasure, what makes us scream yes—are where we must seed the future, turn toward justice and liberation, and reprogram ourselves to desire sexually and erotically empowered lives.”
―adrienne maree brown, Pleasure Activism: The Politics of Feeling Good
We live in a time of great isolation, in connection and solidarity with the world’s suffering, wars, genocide, and violence in ways that our animal bodies and nervous systems were not designed to hold. The Witch and Healer Collective thrives in pleasure activism, creating opportunities for people to come together as a community to engage in spiritual and collective healing, addressing these imbalances in our world and the strain placed on our bodies. Through healing rituals, we can rebalance ourselves, which ripples to our communities and our world.
The mission of our work focuses on the immeasurable impact of restoring our energetic health and seeks to honor possibilities: the possibility of community care, of ancestral healing and lineage repair, of land stewardship and connection, of remembering where we came from and how it informs where we are going. This work is in continual ebb and flow with our understanding and intuitive interpretations of the needs of our communities. The Witch and Healer Collective provides space for these possibilities to flourish and grow collectively with intention in nonlinear and ever-evolving pathways.
We draw from the past lessons not learned and unearth buried wisdom to better understand the healing needs of the present. Through workshops, shared experiences, and individual sessions, we offer spaces that offer preventative interventions for us to unite, celebrate our joys and wins, navigate burnout, and nourish our spirits. As a Collective, we work together towards a more optimistic future of collective liberation.
We center QTBIPOC voices and wisdom, ancestral healing practices, and femme divine Mother Earth-honoring practices. We strive to disrupt the co-opting of indigenous, ancient and eastern healing practices by white practitioners, systems, and businesses. The Witch and Healer Collective draws from practices guided by our ancestors and roots while always approaching spiritual learning with reverence and curiosity.
Most of our workshops and learning spaces are affinity spaces where folks can best connect to the wisdom of their roots and ancestors. We encourage individuals in the collective to create spaces that they can best hold based on their own roots and lived experiences. Please check individual offerings for guidelines for attending the space.
